Our holdings are established operating businesses with real customers, real assets and management teams that intend to keep running them. We prefer density within a sector to breadth across many, because shared procurement, engineering and commercial reach translate directly into margin.
Each business is funded to invest in maintenance and capacity before expansion. The most reliable return available to an operating company is usually the one produced by making the existing footprint run properly.
