Our work begins before an investment closes and continues indefinitely afterwards. We underwrite on mid-cycle economics, fund the maintenance and systems work that is easy to defer, and allocate capital between holdings so that the group can invest through periods when external financing is scarce.
Management teams keep real authority over commercial and operating decisions. What changes under our ownership is the quality of the reporting, the clarity of the capital plan and the patience of the money behind it.
We are deliberately diversified, but diversification for us means independent outcomes rather than a long list of holdings. We hold across sectors so that cash generated in one part of the group can fund investment in another.
